Romanian Citizenship for a Lawyer from Saint Petersburg

In 2023, Elena, a 36-year-old lawyer from Saint Petersburg, approached Citipassport. She had long been considering the possibility of obtaining a second passport in the EU, since she actively works with foreign clients. Her primary objective was to expand her practice and travel throughout Europe without impediment in order to participate in negotiations and court hearings.

It should be noted that it is precisely at this stage that many applicants for a European passport abandon the procedure they have begun, because they are not prepared to work with archives. Experience and legal qualification are necessary in order to correctly draft a request and obtain all required documents.

After preparing the dossier, we arranged for Elena to submit the dossier in Bucharest. She flew to the capital of Romania, met with our lawyer, and received from him all the necessary instructions. In advance, we assisted her with completing the applications, translated her law diploma and certificate of no criminal record, and certified all notarized copies. Submission of the dossier to the Ministry of Justice was carried out by our attorney.

Thereafter, only the technical stage remained — obtaining the Romanian ID card and international passport. Elena now enjoys all the advantages of second citizenship. She flies visa-free to meetings in Brussels, Paris, and Berlin, and has registered a law office in Poland.
